“First Time to Hawaii? Here your Oahu must-do”
2018 – So far, soooo good!
We had our favorite family trip memory of 2017 and beginning of 2018!
We think that it’s always a good idea to learn as much as you can before visiting a place!
What do you know about Hawaii?
Aloha! Which means: Hello, Bye and I love you. (So you’ll hear this all day long)
We visit the island of Oahu. The weather here is pretty good all year round so there’s no real wrong time to visit.
- Oh, Those beautiful beaches
Hawaii has some of the best beaches in the world. The sheer diversity of beach types here is absolutely amazing - white fine sand, blue waters and best spots to go surfing.
Best Beaches in Oahu – Lanikai, Waimanalo and Waikiki Beach!
You don’t have to hike too far to see them. Just jump in and bath in your swimwear.
One of the main attractions is to go to a Luau. You’ll have seen one of these in the movies (Lilo & Stitch, for example). A luau is a dinner party that starts with a buffet, followed by entertainment, singing, hula and fire dancers.
- Helicopter tour
The jagged cliffs and lush valleys that make you gasp as you fly over them in a helicopter and the revealing epic views of the Jurassic Park jungles.
- Visit the HUGE outdoor Ala Moana shopping mall
- Polynesian Cultural Center
Each of the Islands (there are 6) has a cultural presentation at various times during the day. It’s a way for students to earn money for their education and to preserve their cultures from their home islands in Polynesia.
We recommend booking in advance. We almost missed out because the tour was fully booked. And it is one of Hawaii’s best attractions!
What trips are you planning for 2018?
