Our Napa Valley Wine Train Experience
For food and wine lovers!
The Napa Valley Wine Train is perfect for romance, girls’ weekend, wine education…something for everyone.
If you are staying in San Francisco you could get there by car easily (1-2 hrs).
We were invited by the Wine Train to experience an all day tour on Monday (since it was holiday). And we would love to tell you everything about our all day tour experience at the Wine Train.
The tour we did is called Estate Tour (“Highly recommended”)
The Estate Tour includes:
- 6 hours Rail Tour of Napa Valley
- Full tastings at three of Napa Valley's most premier wineries: Domaine Chandon. Hall, and Inglenook.
- 4 Course Napa style meal
Everything begins at 10:15am at the reception and you may enjoy some drinks and snacks while waiting for the train.
At 10:30 we were boarding and they received us with a glass of wine along with the first meal course.
There’s nothing better than wine and a gourmet meal on a train through your favorite wine valley.
We visited 3 wineries: Domaine Chandon, Hall and Inglenook. The three of them were AMAZING and we enjoyed each glass of wine they gave us there (Champagne, white and red wine) while visiting the whole place, the vineyards and listening to its history.
Each time we came back to the train another meal course was served.
Their fine dining service, winery tours, and beautiful scenery is a sample of everything Napa Valley has to offer!
How to buy your tickets to the Wine Train:
It’s pretty easy to book tickets online for the Wine Train through www.winetrain.com. We recommend you to book in advance (at least 2 weeks before) as the tickets are sold fast.
Thanks again to Napa Valley Wine Train for hosting us and for the incredible experience. Here we leave you with a short video of our experience.
